Frequently Asked Questions
In France and most European countries, the photo must measure 35 mm wide by 45 mm tall. The face must occupy between 70% and 80% of the total photo height.
It is strongly advised to remove your glasses. If you keep them, the frames must not cover the eyes, and there must be no reflections on the lenses. Tinted lenses are strictly forbidden.
No, smiling is strictly forbidden for biometric documents. The expression must be neutral, mouth closed and eyes looking directly at the lens.
